The institute is in the US and US goverment has made it compulsory to provide interprefers for daef in hospitals, exhibitions, talks and even concerts! Other facilities such as FM loop system for deaf people who wear hearing aids, TTY pay phones for deaf people to phone hearing people, tutors, Amercan Sign Language classes, and many faculty and stsff memebers who can sign language well.

RIT also offers vocational tehabilition for those disabled people who are having a though time getting jobs.
There are 200 programmes to choose from! Thhe course I would choose is degree or masters in teaching art studies to deaf students!

design for corporate
Design for music
Design for Art
Design for Social Awareness
Design for Corporate Identity
I choose Design for Coorporate and my hypothesis is “Malaysian Corporate Identity
sometimes does not have appropriate concept and is not very creative.’
There is often confusion between corporate identity and corporate image. Corporate image means a mental image of a company that could be influenced by the media’s coverage, company’s performance and public’s perception.
Corporate identity, on the other hand, is represented by company’s logo, uniform, slogan, stationery, décor, etc. For example, the corporate identity of Apple Computers is shown by its logo – bitten off apple whereas the company’s corporate image has its ups and downs. Corporate identity is usually fixed and corporate image is not.
I want to narrow down my research on company logos as corporate identity.
The following questions maybe helpful in assisting me in finding out whether my hypothesis is true or not.
What is concept?
How is concept and corporate identity related?
What is the importance of concept?
Definition of creativity?
I will do both primary research as well as secondary research.

Career Opportunity Portfolio 7
It is sometimes difficult for the deaf to get jobs as employers often misunderstand that the deaf have no skills and its difficult to communicate with them. That is why I prefer to meet the employer face to face before telling them that I am a deaf person. I want them to see my portfolio and try to communicate with me via writing before they judge me.
I think I should look for the following jobs instead of just narrowing my choice to graphic designer post :
· Graphic designer
· Photographer
· Illustrator
· Lecturer for the deaf.
I will do job search via :
· Internet
· Newspaper
· Job agents
· Magazines
· Advertising year book
My mailing list will consist of the following websites:
This website provides a directory of design companies in Malaysia. I will e-mail or fax my resume to the stated companies. They may keep my resume just in case in the future they need a designer, they may contact me. I may also walk into the companies to introduce myself and show my work.
It is sometimes difficult for deaf people to get jobs so if I can’t get a job via online application, I would go to job agencies and get registered. This website has addresses of job agencies in Malaysia.
Career Opportunity Portfolio 6
My mailing list will consist of the following websites:
I will subscribe to this website since there are many deaf people out there seeking to learn simple things like photoshop, illustrator, etc.
This is another website that we have to subscribe to and they will find us a suitable job. Fees have to be paid.
Career Opportunity Porfolio 5
1. http:/www.jobstreet.com.my
I choose this website because a wide range of design jobs are advertised and they even have jobs for disabled people. However, I need to subscribe and have to pay them after I get the job. SMS alerts would be sent to me if there is a new posting or job that is suitable for me, this is very convenient for me.
This website advertises all sort of jobs and no subscription is need. However, I find that the jobs advertised here is not as much as those on the Star newspaper so I would use both the paper and the online site to look for jobs. I will ask my friend or family member to help me call the company to fix an interview
